Random Thoughts
It is one of the local television stations owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group? From Pres Clinton actually destroyed all obstacles to the monopoly control of radio waves by signing the execrable Telecommunications Act of 1996, the number of television stations in the United States has increased, the small number of companies of the them has decreased. Sinclair Broadcasting Group owns television stations in nearly sixty years, chances are you're watching one of them when you sit down to check on their local news. You know that smarmy looking guy going on at the end of its local news to submit a comment from one to two minutes called The Point? Did you know that is not just a local crackpot fascist nonsense dropping in the face of factual evidence? Not just a journalist Geraldo Rivera, aspiring to anyone. The host of the Sinclair Broadcasting Group point occupying at least one minute of local news is, in fact, Vice President of Sinclair. His name is Mark Hyman and not just look like a fool, he is one. Should be, otherwise a dorky as Sinclair broadcasting company would have nothing to do with him.Remember time ago when I wanted to air Nightline Ted Koppel read the names of all U.S. military who had been killed in combat in Iraq until that point? To give you an idea of how long it was, had only 700 names to read, now would be almost 2600. Well, Sinclair Broadcasting, said it would not air Nightline ABC affiliates because it was politically motivated. It was partisan politics, to read the names of those who had been killed in Iraq. Ironically, Sinclair Broadcasting was the point where you really do not intend to prohibit the transmission of this program. After all, if simply reading the names of soldiers killed is politically motivated, then it means that Sinclair Broadcasting admitted that their deaths were politically motivated? It must be because it is difficult to imagine Sinclair Broadcasting prohibit the reading of all Americans killed in Pearl Harbor. Thought. But to return food to the point. Sinclair Broadcasting does not allow its ABC affiliates to show Ted Koppel to do anything more than reading a list of names, since it amounts to partisan politics. What Sinclair does not believe party politics is trying to force its members, a few weeks before the elections of 2004-to-air prime-time anti-Kerry film in which a ragtag group of disgruntled Vietnam veterans lied about service in wartime Kerry. Leaving aside for the moment what is and is not true about the controversy, Sinclair Broadcasting how could justify these decisions, especially in light of the fact that he was an adviser to Bush, behind the smear campaign whole. (Not to mention that Karl Rove was behind it all anyway). That can not be seen as partisan politics, but reading the names of dead soldiers do not? But to return to Mark Hyman and the point. What exactly is the point of showing that offers publishers Hyman misinformed and wrong about a lot of issues that have nothing to do with any of the local news items to which I just saw in the last 27 minutes? Once you get rid of advertising, promotions, weather, sports and exaggerate the stars of the network, most local news only offer a maximum of five to seven hard real news anyway. Sinclair Broadcasting stations now do not even much. Hyman night diatribes always been walking in goose-step line to Pres. Bush's policies. Not a single segment of The Point has criticized George W. Pres Bush. Not one. Never. I mean, even Bill O'Reilly criticizes Bush once or twice a year. Not so Mark Hyman. I guess this kind of Bush is God. But that is beside the point. After all, Mark Hyman is entitled to their opinion. The problem is that nobody else has a right to them. I have emailed my local Sinclair Broadcasting station several times asking to be allowed to respond to the ultra-right wing Mark Hyman rants. After all, I realized since I was born and raised in this city, lived here almost all my life, and since Hyman has been allowed to present their opinions every day from Sinclair took over the station without a single rather than a statement offering an opposing point of view I had a pretty good argument to be allowed in the air. I never received a response. So I called WEAR-TV in the 850-456-3333 and asked to be connected with someone about the night segment on the local news called The Point. I waited and waited and waited. And finally my connection was completed. So I called again the next day, asking to speak to someone about a story of local interest. (See, I learned my lesson!) When I came across a reporter asked if he could speak to someone about the offer of a replica of The Point. I was told I would have to talk to the CEO, but that person was out of the office at that point and would call back the next day. I called back asking for the General Manager and was taken to a voice message. I left my voice mail asking if he could respond to The Point. None of them. I did not care which. I just wanted to be allowed to offer a m viewpoint.I opposition "to the hope that return my phone call, you see, my main concern is not with Mark Hyman and his idiotic statements. My main concern is that Sinclair Broadcasting owns these places. If they wanted to force feed their fascist dogma down the throats of those who eat that kind of garbage up, to resort to time throughout the program to do it. Heck, you could anticipate one of the wicked, the series without a soul, the time of the first liberal propaganda that is transmitted every night. But, hey, atheists, the series soulless liberal propaganda Mark Hyman wins prime time salary, so I guess it will not happen. Show how much you are worth their principles. Just do not try to tell me that Mark Hyman obtain wrong information about everything from Vietnam to the pension reform is a local story. And I have to endure the fact that most local news in the waste was recycled network news and sports. Sinclair Broadcasting How can get away with this shit? Pres blame Clinton for signing this bill stupid when I should have known better.
